Want to know if we have a book in our library collection and how to find it? Follow these simple instructions to search by author or title, or browse the entire collection.
Step 1: Click on Helene Spring Library Books. This will open a new page called Library Thing. Step 2: On the Library Thing page, it will say: "HeleneSpringLibrary has a suggested viewing style for this library (use it)" Click on use it.
Step 3: Locate the box that says "Search this library" near the top right side of the screen. Step 4: Click in the box where it says "search this library" and type the information about the book for which you are searching. (Ex: title, author, etc.) Step 5: Click "search."
Step 6: Make a note of the Dewey number for your selected book. Step 6: Come to the library and pick up your book off the shelf.
Tips: To locate a book by author, type the author's name. Example: To find a book by Katharine Weber, you can use any of the following entries: Weber Katharine Weber K. Weber Weber, Katharine If you misspell the author's name, the screen will read "no book in the collection."
To locate a book by title, type any portion of the title. Example: To find Songs for the Butcher's Daughter, you can use any of the following entries: Songs for the butcher's daughter daughter butcher song
The Dewey number in the box to the right of the title tells you the location of the book on the shelves in the library.
For more information on the book you've located, click on the title.
Click on the back arrow at the top left side of the screen to get back to "Search this library" to look for additional books.
